Case Study – SandoBar – Bankstown Central

Joe From SandoBar purchased a food bar/café in Bankstown Central Shopping Centre. Like any food bar or café, it had a client base, but it was not performing to it’s potential. Joe recognized this and set out to capitalize on it.


Joe settled on his business purchase early in June 2023 and needed to turn around the business fast. He identified that the menu needed to be adjusted; he had lots of great ideas but was not 100% sure what would work best for the demographic in the center and around the café area in the shopping center, so he contacted Signage Digital Signage.


Joe explained to Signage Digital Signage that he needed fast turnaround time, a flexible solution so that he can test the market, and a solution that was going to have the best impact on passing foot traffic.


Joe noticed that there was a lot of hot food bar items being purchased (Spring rolls, Nuggets calamari etc.) and the average sale here was around $4-$5 per customer. He needed to increase this average cost of sale to capitalise on his teams amazing new menu.


Joe and Signature Digital Signage worked together to optimise the menu to attract new customers that were walking by and convert existing customers to purchase new items form the new menu.


The day after the Digital Menu Boards were installed Joe started to see purchase from the new menu, including Burger meal deals and the family meal deal that was priced at $58.
